SHUT UP LOL I'VE ALWAYS LOVED THIS NAME
Mann(dra) makes a come back, revamped! I apologize about the drastic changes made but Mann was somewhat of a persona and it was just kind of hard to roleplay believe it or not LOL so here we have Denny, done very similarly to how I originally envisioned Mann. Here's his outfit reference. THIS IS A SCHEDULED SUBMISSION!

YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN.
The following entry was brought to you by the owners themselves.

Even when given the opportunity to strike, you made the mistake of targeting a con-artist of all people. Sure you caught him off guard, but he caught you in the act. You found not an ID in your hand, but a lousy gum wrapper.

His eyes followed yours, golden and gleaming. Dare you try and pickpocket me again! Alas, there won’t be a next time. You have unveiled yourself from that cloak of despair, and to despair you shall return. You’ve made a grave mistake, [REDACTED]. The jury will have your head next trial when they hear about this.

Looks like you’re going to have to off him too.

There in the physics laboratory rested the Ultimate Inventor, snoozing away with his head cradled in the nest of his arms. Like a shark, the Mastermind waded around the area in hopes that this attempt would fair better. No, never mind ‘better’. They could not afford to slip up this time. They had to get into that damn room. As the old saying goes, it was like taking candy from a baby. After one last glance around the room to make sure no one was watching, they made off with Jaime’s Electronic Student ID Card as though they were the con-artist—but not before relocating an axe they’d hidden out from the storage room.

Although in a hurry to find something—anything—they could use from within Room 17 to study his handwriting, it wasn’t until they crossed that familiar face that their pace had slackened. So that’s where you went, huh? From within the folder, they were able to find several different sheets of paper: ones that had piqued their interest and ones riddled with handwriting. Jackpot. Only but a few minutes, and the deed had been done. Resting the letter on the bed opposite to Jaime’s, the Mastermind meandered over to the trash can by the door. Their hands were occupied by the folder’s contents, now damaged beyond recognition. The only thing legible was the academy’s emblem on but a piece of shredded paper. It seems this room was rife with interesting finds, as the moment they departed from Denny’s bed, something had once again caught their attention. Oh? They turned back around, feeding off the sight of her taser. An idea graced them, proof enough by the grin on their face.

Returning to the laboratory was nothing more than a breeze, just about as much as fetching the ingredients for despair from the storage room. Like death’s flower girl, they began sprinkling the shaved magnesium around Jaime. Fearing an early rise-and-shine from the inventor, they made sure the bottle of gasoline didn’t glug and hiccup when they poured a messy trail from the magnesium over to the other side of the room nearest the axe. Thievery’s pretty fun, they thought when slipping the ID back into his pocket. Who knew stealing a life would be this easy? But they thought too soon. As groggy as someone like him, Jaime began to wake from his slumber. Little did he anticipate the sight before him. There crouched the Mastermind across the room with goggles strapped over their face, a battery in their left hand, and a gum wrapper in their right. They looked up at the soon-to-be victim and cursed their timing.

Something jolted him awake. Maybe a sound, maybe movement. Jaime wasn't sure but he wasn't even sure of when he had fallen asleep. Rubbing his head, he turned to look around and see what had woken him up… And he saw them.
Instantly, a frown was on his face. A very light one considering how this person had just walked in without a word and began to... do something. "What in the world are you doing?" He asked, getting up from the chair and rubbing one of his eyes, still sleepy. "Actually—no, get out of here. I don't want you here." Something told him the situation wasn't right. At all.

But it was already TOO LATE, YOU SEE?

The explosion that ensued caused a bright, blinding flash of white light throughout the room. Embers began to clap off the metal around the laboratory like a dying firework. The silvery wrapper’s makeshift flame had ignited the gasoline, and once that flame had spread to the other side of the room? The magnesium took its course like clockwork. Their eyes, protected by the goggles, beheld the despairing display of Jaime’s limp and lifeless body against the lab’s back wall. The Mastermind craned their head towards the buzzing sound of the security camera from the ceiling above. Its glass eye appeared to zoom in on their shadowy figure.

“Enjoying the show?”

It was then that the room became quiet. The only thing audible in that moment were the muffled shouts from beneath the Mastermind’s hand and the sound of Jaime’s heels skidding across the tile.

Meanwhile, the plum-haired boy had just returned to his room after a night of patrolling the halls and doing some investigation himself. Denny didn’t think twice about who had written the letter dedicated to him. If he hadn’t almost been pickpocketed by that lowly creature, he might have questioned visiting Jaime at the laboratory alone—but he didn’t. In fact, he couldn’t wait to tell his roommate about the mistake of a lifetime. A leisurely stroll and the con-artist had found himself before the fifth spot on the third floor map. It was dark on this side of the academy, but the cut-up hand that rested between those large, metal doors was unmistakeable. Lesions from finger to finger and the white cuff under viridian-black. Juan. The hand slipped past the doors, and Denny followed suit.

The Mastermind returned to the darkness after tossing the inventor’s amputated arm to the side. So sad that he couldn’t maintain the same look on his face after happening upon the grotesque body of his own roommate. He took a step back and the pupils of his shaking, gold eyes dilated. Little did he know that a framing would be the least of his worries, for a dead man harbors no worries.

Lights out, Malone.

MONOKUMA FILE 5

The victims are Jaime Sánchez Alcaraz and Denny Malone. Both bodies were found in the physics laboratory room.

Although the time of Jaime’s death is uncertain, the cause is shock from loss of blood. His amputated arm can be found halfway across the room.

The time of Denny’s death was around 9:30pm; the cause is decapitation. The head has been separated from the body but can be found no more than two feet away.

GREEN TEXT:

Greetings, students of Hope’s Peak! Today, I would like to introduce to you a feature we are currently working on implementing into future Mafia rounds. You can call this a beta test, if you will. Though they may not work like this in the future, we hope you enjoy our prototype on Truth Bullets.

For this case, there are two Truth Bullets that only select characters are capable of unveiling. This means only they would know about specific events that happened in past roleplays as they were the only ones present. Thus, the trial will be monitored closely by yours truly! If and when a witness has remembered something vital and introduced it to the heated debate, a bold message will certify that their word is both factual and relevant to the case. The rest are public Truth Bullets. These clues are mostly accessible to all students, but only if you insist they investigated. Otherwise, please do not assume your character is savvy of everything listed here or what happened in the above entry. While some are more important than others, they work together to tell a story.

Lab Storage Room Door

The door was found open at the time of investigation. It’s normally shut, and none of the materials Jaime was working with came from within.

Trash Bin

The bin inside Room 17 holds a manila folder and several ripped papers. Though nothing is legible anymore, HPA’s emblem can be found on a single shred of paper.

Jaime’s Files

Among his belongings, one might be able to find his investigation report and will.

Momo’s Taser

The kitty taser, once owned by Momo Tokiwa, can be found in Room 17, cracked open and sans its battery.

Denny’s Pockets

Among several types of wrappers, one can find Denny’s MP3 player that doubles as a voice recorder. The following track can be accessed from his library: vocaroo.com/i/s0dFqOhxamRS . The timestamp reads 9:32 PM.

Burnt Debris

Both a large battery and a folded gum wrapper were sitting in what’s left of the gasoline, charred on the edges if not burnt to a crisp.

Gallon of Gasoline

The bottle can be found sitting on a table in clear sight.

Dying Message

The bloodied fingers on Jaime’s non-dominant hand must have painted this.

Letter on Denny’s Bed

The letter reads:

Denny,

I can’t be assed to come find you, but I’ve happened upon something critical. What you said in the trial… I think you may have been right. Meet me in the physics lab ASAP.
